simplicity

I love having my kids around.  They remind me, daily, to enjoy life's simple pleasures.

 Miss Pink and I dropped Mr. Orange off at a friend's house this afternoon.  She was cold when we came inside so she perched herself on the arm of the couch.  I asked her if she would be more comfortable on the cushion.  She said, "No.  I'm getting warm in the sunshine."

Before going to his friend's house, Mr. Orange had to do his homework and practice for music class.  When he came home he asked, "Would it be all right if I practiced for music class some more?  I looooove music class."  What was I to say?  No?  Of course you can practice!  I know there will come a day when he despises me for making him practice, but for now, I will enjoy his simple requests to practice more.
