I love food. I really do. As much as I love cupcakes and chocolate, I really love foods that make me feel great. I am in the process of turning my family into a whole-foods family. I no longer cook meat at our house. (Well, maybe once every 3-6 months.) We try to avoid cow's milk, but will still eat some butter, cheese, yogurt, and I make my own kefir. I start every day off with a green smoothie and will often have one at lunch too. I try my best to feed my kids good foods, but it's not always easy. As much as I would like to say they always eat their fruits and veggies and only eat whole grains, that just wouldn't be the truth. We have our mac 'n cheese days too. Overall, we do pretty well.
